Born in Toronto, Canada, he began ice-skating from a very early age and dreamt of playing professional hockey. In 1995 he received the “Canadian Junior Player of the Year” award which lead to a hockey scholarship at Lake Superior State University in Marie, Michigan. At Lake Superior, Trent played hockey for four years and graduated with a business degree. He then went on to play professional hockey for three years before retiring in 2000 and moving to California where he started his professional career with ICM (International Creative Management) one of the world’s largest talent and literary agencies with offices in New York, Los Angeles and London.
After four years of being a talent agent, he started his own management company called 33 Entertainment where he managed celebrity clients and produced independent films. In 2009 Trent and a small group purchased the 33 Floor at Palms Place Hotel & Spa in Las Vegas, which consisted of 17 condos. This group later became the 33Group, a hospitality group in Las Vegas.
In 2013, he sold the 33Group and founded The Walford Group, a full service destination management company which designs, caters to and coordinates event logistics for individuals, small groups and corporate outings. The Walford Group provides creative solutions for guests traveling to Las Vegas for vacation, special events, celebrity entertainment and more. Trent and The Walford Group are quickly becoming one of the leaders in destination management in the Las Vegas market.
